 Bone health  is actually multifactorial and involves inflammation, malabsorption, toxicity, and endocrine disregulation. This imbalance leads to collagen degradation, and activation of the osteoclasts [cells that destroy and remodel bone] versus the osteoblasts [cells which build new bone]. The result is porous bone which increases risk of fracture and frailty.

 

We will then discuss the naturopathic holistic model, which includes botanical medicine, nutrition,detoxification,fixing absorption,and interesting Physical medicine techniques like whole body vibration and Yoga.
